A huge congratulations to De La Salle Pipe Band who took 1st in MSR and 2nd in Medley in Lorient Guinness Interceltique Festival Pipe Band competition and also congratulations to the members of the band who played with New Ross and won the World Pipe Band Championships in Grade 4A on Saturday in Glasgow!
The band returned home in the early hours of this morning having spent 10 glorious and successful days at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient. They are pictured above shortly before commencing one of their many performances at the festival and competition which they won.
Members of the band taking part in the festivities, pictured with them are two members of the South African Irish Regimental Association Pipe Band who are also leaders with the 37th Pretoria Scout Group.
