Congratulations to Tom Nugent (pictured above) who won the Adult Leader Award in the Culture category at the Waterford Annual Youth Awards held on the 30th of November last. Tom has been a member of the De La Salle Scout Pipe Band for many years and was officially presented with the award at the Group’s Christmas mass at De La Salle College. Well done also to Pat O’Connor from the St. Pauls Scout Troop who received the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Waterford VEC for 2006.
