The De La Salle Scout Group Pipe Band took part in the Waterford City Massed Bands concert on Friday night the 8th of December last in the Sacred Heart Church. The event was organised in an effort to raise in the region of 10,000 Euro for cancer care and bereavement counselling. The Pipes and Drums of the De La Salle Scout Group with the Waterford City Pipe Band opened the concert with a rendition of twenty minutes of Scottish and Irish music with some modern pieces thrown in.
